Sally had her deciduous lateral incisor (52) knocked out when she ran into a pole. Using the diagrams provided, track and describe the pathway of blood from her heart to the ‘break’ in the CVS

  1. So the oxygenated blood would run from the left ventricle up the aortic arch - brachiocephalic artery - right common carotid - through the carotid sinus - external carotid - maxillary artery? - anterior sup artery to the 52?

  2. Not sure if anyone is up this late :-)
Erin I think you are on the right track there. I would say from maxillary it goes to the infraorbital and form there anterior sup.
There was another part to this case study asking how it would be different if it was tooth 62. Only diff. here is that there is no brachiosephalic artery on the LHS but straight from aorta intoleft comm. carotid etc.
